Mandaue
Just my offhand observation of the latest development in Mandaue City … the Jonas Cortes alliance with Glen Bercede is weak. It came about because Bercede wanted to run for vice mayor but cannot if Jonas remains within the OUano camp. This alliance came about as an effort to push Jonas to run for mayor and BErcede as vice.
But what will prevent Bercede from going back to the Ouano camp to run as Jonkie Ouano’s vice mayoralty candidate?
One factor that will push Bercede back to Ouano is the Baludong Cortes candidacy. Baludong wants to become vice mayor. I don’t think Jonas will junk Baludong in favor of Bercede. It’s more of the other way around.
